New paper on catheter-based measurement of blood flow dynamics

Congratulations to Sunny on her new paper on forward-viewing intravascular blood flow imaging, which was recently published in Ultrasonics!  This work investigates the effect of the catheter-based measurement device itself on the ability to make accurate intravascular hemodynamic measurements, finding that there is minimum blood flow disruption for a hollow catheter.   … [Read more...]

New NIH award for 3D coronary artery imaging system

Robotically-steered ultrasound-tipped guidewire named Featured Article in IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Engineering

CT + ultrasound for cardiac imaging

Congratulations to Stephan! Imaging through varying skull microstructure
