Congrats to Bowen on publication of his new paper, “Very low-frequency radial modulation for deep penetration contrast-enhanced ultrasound imaging,” in Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology! This article describes a new approach for imaging microbubble contrast agents by perturbing the microbubbles with a frequency much lower than the resonance frequency of the bubble. This technique could be useful in applications where blood flow imaging deep within the body is needed (for example, in abdominal imaging or through the skull). The paper can be found here.
